The 2012 presidential campaign passed the $2 billion mark in fundraising Thursday. This puts the election on track to be the costliest in U.S history. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have brought in $1.7 billion.

The fundraisiing passed $2 billion mark. Got a lot of money from dinners and from people donating. Costliest in US history. Its also the first time both partys opted out from public financing. 4 million people donated.

They raise money by doing fundraisers. On thursday they made the mark of 2 million dollars. They have recieved an outpouring amount of cash from both normal citizen and wealthy citizens hoping to influence the selection of the countrys next leader.

The 2012 presidential election campaign earned $2 billion. Obama the democratic party related fundraising comity which gained 8.8 million for the first 15 days of October. Obama's spokesman Adam Fetcher acknowledged Thursday that Romney and his supportive super PAC's were out spending prices on airwaves.

The presidential election has hit $2 billion. Reporters are saying that the economy is not growing rapidly enough to create sufficient jobs. The U.S. economy has grew 2% since July. The 2012 election is so tight, Obama and Romney are very dependent on high dollar funds. They gain these by people donating and from dinners.

The presidential campaign passed the $2 billion dollar mark in fundraising. The money was coming from ordinary people and wealthy people wanting to help the election. Barack and Romney brought 1.7 billion dollars so far in the election. This year marked the first year that both parties opted out from the financing system.

    Hello, I received my Bachelor's degree in History from Cedarville University in
    Ohio and I taught out of state in West Virginia and Florida for four years.  I
    also worked in telecommunications for 4 years.  My grandfather and great uncle
    went to Saltsburg High School in the 1940's.  My grandfather still talks about
    the 1935 flood!  As a result of that flood the local dams were built to prevent
    flooding.
