I like that its a normal settled down town but i dislike that pennslyvania is cold.I hate the cold but i like alot of snow sometimes so its kind of a good thing that it gets cold quicker because then we get snow faster.I dont like that there is no beaches aroung because i like to go fishing for crabs.I like that its usually quite and that there is alot of nature around.I like and dislike the woods because sometimes its scary but at other times its quite and peaceful.I dislike that its country all around.

I enjoy living in SaItsburg, I like being able to live near a river and i trail. Its nice to go for a walk on the trail every so offten. Its kind of a small town so, everybody knows everybody. We have a good school system compared to others. Some things i dislike are, that it is small, which could be good and bad. Also, there is extreme amounts of drug use all year round. But, i like living i Southwestern Pennsylvania, because it is a truely beautiful place. I don't like how hot it is in the summer and how cold it is in the winters. But the mountains are beautiful,and i will probably live around here for a really long portion of my life.

what i like about living in saltsburg is the nice temperatures, the four seasons, all my friends live here, theres lots of stuff to do, were close to pittsburgh and greensburg and indiana, we have a shop n save, a gas station, and a dollar general. i also like the quietness. i like the temperatures because its not too hot all the time and not too cold. i like the seasons becuase i like snow and summer. all my friends live here too so whenever i bored i can hang out with someone. i also like adventuring in the woods with my friends. theres lots of stuff to do because we can go to the ropeswing or the park or ride our bikes on the trails or we can go adventuring in the woods. another good thing is we live close to indiana and greensburg so whenever we want to go to the movies or the mall its not too far to get there. thats why i like living in saltsburg

Yesterday we learned about florida. There is alot of Spanish-speaking people that live there because it is easy for people from Cuba and places near that to go to florida. Also alot of elederly people live there because it is warm almost all year round. Because of all the people there it has the 4th largest population. It's also very important for the Presidential election because of the population and there problems are being faced. Some history of Florida is the oldest city in America is St. Augustine, FL. The Seminole Indian tribe was from Florida. Florida was also a part of the Confederacy in the Civil War. Florida is also concerned about global warming because it would cause more floods and hurricanes from the sun heating the water.

I like living in Saltsburg because it is a smaller town. Everyone knows eachother. The school in Saltsburg is actually good compared to others. Also Saltsburg and southwestern Pennsylvania doesn't have very high crime rates. Saltsburg is a generally safe town to live in. Also the weather around southwestern Pennsylvania isn't that bad. We dont have tornados or hurricanes coming through all the time. I dislike that there is a lot of drug use around the area. I don't like that southwestern pennsylvania gets snow. I would rather be in a climate that is hot all year round. But in conclusion Pennsylvania is a e beautiful place!

I don't like to live here. It's to far away from my close friends, and family. Nothing is fun around here. I live in the woodland's and they call it that for a reason...the woods. I'm not aloud to do anything at all. My perents think i'm going to get bye some animal. But I just cant have negitives, I like it. it's so nice and quiet. I'm shy, so I like the quiet. I have my own time, like reading, and drawing. That's mostly all I do. But the berds get anoying deffently if there chasing after something. And I live in a log cabben so the woodpeckes dont help. So there is some positive and some negitive but I guess you get ust to it.

I can agree with you casse but it is kinda nice that it is quite but i can't understand friends in other places because all of my friends are here in saltsburg but the wildlife is beautiful and the trails are magnifasent and where i live no one will really bother but where you live you have so many people but i cant wait to get away from my house because it is too quite and some things when i come to school it is really loud compared to the quiteness of my house

I enjoy living in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We have freedom, and you get to experience the peak of all four seasons. It is never too hot, or freezing. In Spring you get to see all the green leaves, and flowers blooming. Fall, is all about the leaves changing and the beautiful scenery. In Winter you get to see th snow falling and enjoy sled riding. And lastly, Summer. When you get to experience the warm weather. Also, living in Pennsylvania ales you to experience the leasure of hunting. As for living in Saltsburg, I alse enjoy it. I love being in the country and i don't like the city. It is a little town, and everbody knows everybody. And it is nice that way. Therefore, i enjoy living in both Saltsburg and Southwestern Pennsylvania.

I like all the things in PA but he polution and the baseball team. They are not the greatest but our football team is for sure. Also we have a very good hockey team to go along with the awesome football team. The pittsburgh steelers and the penguins. I really like the scenery of PA because of all the woods in southwest PA. In the fall it is really beautiful seeing all the different colored trees and all the bushes and all the animals that hang around in the area. There are bears,lots of birds, and many different reptiles from salamanders to snakes. Those are my likes and dislikes abpout southwestern PA.

what i like about saltsburg is that its a small town you cant get lost but in a big city you get lost easy this place there isn't alot of traffic the food is good in pennslvannia and the people aren't mean this is a good state the things that suck about it is that there is a lot of littering and the laws aren't good. but that all good because i like this state.

I like living in Pennsylvania because has a lot of woodland areas. I like living in the country rather than living in the city. I like how you can explore the areas and do many things. There are many good sports team around this area like the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. I also like playing football for saltsburg. I enjoy the outdoors of Pennsylvania and enjoy the wildlife. I dont like how there aren't many stores in Saltsburg. I Like living beside a river because i like to fish a lot. It is a lot of fun to go to the Saltsburg's Varsity football games. It is a lot of fun to go there and hang out with all of your friend while siting or walking the track. Those are my likes and dislikes about Pennsylvania.

Somethings I like about saltsburg are: I like that I live by a river and I also like that theres a trail that I can take walks on and ride my bike. I also like that its a quite town and not very busy. Another thing I like about Saltsburg is that the school is really nice and big and the teachers are nice. i like living in southwestern pennsylvania because its really nice. I dislike that its so hot in the summer! I also like living in southwestern Pennyslvania because theres so many trees and lots of sightings. Thats what I like and dislike about Saltsburg.

I enjoy living in Saltsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvaia because of how we get all four seasons, you dont have to drive forever in order to fish or hunt, and because of how everything is so close and local you can really do close to anything by driving no more than twenty to forty-five minutes. Its also nice to have most of the local city professional teams be decent. Living in Saltsburgh is also nice becasue it is far enough from the ocean that we dont have the effects of hurricanes as much as others that live on the coast, and some areas have quite a bit of hills and mountains that people who live near them dont have to worry about flood and tornados.

I dont like anything about living in pennslyvania. i dont like the temperatures or the seasons. Saltsburg is so small its hardley a real place, its like its just a bunch of house and old run down shops. although one thing that is ok with saltsburg is that its so small that every one knows eachother very well. but at the same time thats a pest because every one always knows what you doing. Living in southwestern pennslyvania is very cold, we have seasons yet there all cold. The city of pittsburg is a wonderful place yet living on the far outskirts of it isnt so great.

I like that it is a samll town and there are not to many people to the point of it being crowded every where you go. I dislike that even with how small the town is there are still small fights. I don't understand why people can't get along with people within their age range. I also like that we have a smaller school so that it does at least keep just minimum fights between people. Another thing I like is the rivers and trails to enjoy the little things you see are here. Those are the things I like and dislike about Saltsburg and Southwstern Pennsylvania.

I enjoy living in Saltsburg and in Southwestern Pennsylvania because all of my friends live here and there's things to do and I like that we have all the four seasons every year cause some places don't. I also enjoy the temperatures cause during the summer it's not to hot then in the fall it's a little chilly and warm but it's not bad but then during the winter is when it sucks cause it's freezing. Some dislikes about Saltsburg is that it's a very small town but it's alright cause I don't really like living in the city crowded by tons of people I like living in the country some what. So therefore I like living in both.

I like living in Saltsburg. Most of my friends live in town so i always have something too do. Our school is ok too. Down town there is a Foxs, Sorellas, Shop n save, Bp, and a little farther near the school theres a dollar general so if i ever need anything i can go too one of those places. They should add a walmart though. Every weekend usually i want something that i cant get bc the places downtown dont have them. but other than that saltburgs ok.

I like living southern Pennsylvanaina & Saltsburg because I like seeing all of the seasons. You get to see spring,summer,fall,and winter. You get to do different things like hunting,sled riding, and swimming. I wouldn't like living in Colorado or New York city. It is like in between. I also like how there isn't alot of people if there was it would be crowded all time. Then that means there would be alot of traffic. I hate traffic. There is alot of close places to go to like Indiana,Blairsville,and more! That's why I like living in Saltsburg and southern Pennsylvania.

What i like about living in southwestern Pennsylvainia and the Saltsburg community is the four seasons, the close knit community,and the history.There is an abundance of history in both Saltsburg and southwestern Pennsylvainia such as Ft.Necessity,Ft.Ligonier,ect..What i dont like about living in southwestern Pennsylvainia and the Saltsburg community is not being close to the beach,even though i like the four seasons,the cold weather is a slight disadvantage,not alot of activities for the kids. The thing that is the worst in a small town is the gossip everybody is in everybodys business whether its true or not it spreads like wildfire and can be very hurtful.All and all everything in life has its advantages and disadvantages but from my point of view so far i enjoy living in southwestern Pennsylvainia in Saltsburg.

I like living is Saltsburg because i have lived here all my life. I like living right beside the river and being able to boat and walk on the trail. Something i dont like is having cold weather. I would rather have warm weather all year round then snow and cold. Southern Pa is a nice place to live because of the four seasons, but I'd rather live somewhere warmer. I like Saltsburg because I've known everybody since I was little. I like living in the woods because there is a lot of wildlife and it's quiet. I also like being able to walk around with my friends and enjoy nature and not have busy streets and traffic.

What I enjoy about living in Southwestern Pennsylvania is, the small towns and the country atmosphere. Being out in the country has so many more advantages than living in a big city! Such as quad riding which you cant do in the city. Hunting and being able to shoot your bow, or a new gun without having to go to a shooting range! Also some disadvantages are the cold weather which I dislike very much! It is just a bother having to put on a snowsuit just to walk through your yard because there is 2 foot of snow to shovel. Plus the poor road conditions having to drive or ride in cars on back roads, just to get to a store 8 miles away! Another dislike would be not having any shopping centers around. The closest one is usually 25 miles away! Those are the likes and dislikes of living in Southwestern PA!

Hello, I received my Bachelor's degree in History from Cedarville University in Ohio and I taught out of state in West Virginia and Florida for four years. I also worked in telecommunications for 4 years. My grandfather and great uncle went to Saltsburg High School in the 1940's. My grandfather still talks about the 1935 flood! As a result of that flood the local dams were built to prevent flooding.
